This Fleurs is illustrated by André Dignimont (1891-1965), a French artist interested in reviving the art of illustration. He illustrated The Vagabond by Colette, Lovers and Thieves by Tristan Bernard, and Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell. Dignimont portrayed the underworld of society. He was awarded the Chevalier of the Légion of d'Honneur.
